Additional Capacity

Due to high demand for dormitory rooms, we are adding extra capacity of 16 rooms in the Mladá Garda dormitory. This facility is located approximately 23 minutes by tram from the summer school venue. The rooms are arranged in "cells," with two rooms sharing one bathroom. Each cell is strictly single-gender (male or female only), and mixed-gender cells are not permitted. As with the main dormitory, you may choose to include breakfast, which is served on-site.

We’re happy to offer a convenient and budget-friendly accommodation package for ESSAI 2025 attendees in the recently renovated university dormitories. The rooms
are simple, clean, and affordable, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay during the summer school.

The dormitories are located just 15 to 25 minutes by tram from the summer school venue. More information to help you get around will be shared on the webpage www.essai2025.eu

Each room accommodates 1 or 2 people and comes with its own private bathroom. You can choose accommodation with or without breakfast, depending on your preference – just select your option during registration.

Accommodation Packages:

• 6-Night Package: Covers Sunday to Saturday: June 29 – July 5, 2025 (the full duration of the Summer School).

• 7-Night Package: Includes one additional night before or after the Summer School.
You can choose either Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday.
Please indicate your preferred option in the registration form.

• 1 Extra Night:
Available for special cases if you plan to stay longer than 7 nights or less than 6 nights. Please specify your intended stay clearly in the registration.

Important information for Full-time students:

If you are enrolled as a full-time student, you may request an exemption from the city tax directly in the registration system by selecting "Add discount" – the amount will be automatically deducted from the ticket price.

Please note that you will be required to present a valid student ID or official confirmation of your full-time student status from your home university upon check-in. If you fail to provide this documentation during your stay, you will be asked to pay the mandatory city tax of €3.50 per night on the spot, in accordance with local regulations.

Please note:
- The number of rooms is limited, and they will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
- If you wish to share a room with a specific person, simply include their name in the comment section during registration—we’ll do our best to accommodate your
request.
- Once the capacity at the primary facility (ŠD Jura Hronca) is full, participants will be assigned a room in a neighbouring dormitory (ŠD Dobrovičova) of a similar standard.
- While we aim to make your stay pleasant, organizers cannot take responsibility for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during your stay. We strongly
recommend all participants arrange personal travel and health insurance before arrival.
- Please also note that, according to local regulations, the dormitory is not a secure place for storing cash, credit cards, jewellery, or other valuables.

- Indicate the exact dates of your stay in the registration form, and make sure to select whether you are purchasing a shared (double occupancy) or private (single occupancy) room. Shared rooms will be assigned based on gender (male/female).

Room Assignment and Changes
Please note that all provided accommodation is in student dormitories, where other university students may also be staying. Room and dormitory assignments will be made based on availability. This means that your assigned facility or room type may change depending on current occupancy. Any changes will be communicated to you in advance via email.
