Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are no longer just a ticket. They are a new communication channel for event organizers.

 

When we added support for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet tickets a few years ago, the main goal was to make life easier for visitors. They no longer had to search for a PDF in their email, download attachments or worry about whether they had the ticket saved on the right phone. A single tap was enough, and the ticket was always ready on their phone.

Today we can see that this way of using tickets has become the standard. Almost half of all event visitors now use Apple Wallet or Google Wallet instead of traditional PDF tickets. The reason is simple – it's faster, more convenient and the ticket is always at hand.

That's why at Inviton we've taken Wallet tickets to a new level.

 

New: custom content and notifications right inside the ticket

For Wallet tickets, organizers can now set up:

  • a custom ticket design,
  • custom text and information displayed directly in the Wallet,
  • push notifications sent to visitors.

This means a Wallet ticket no longer serves only as entry to an event. It becomes an effective communication tool.

Stay in touch with visitors even after the ticket is purchased

Every organizer knows the situation when they need to share an important piece of information with visitors:

  • a change to the programme,

  • the opening of registration,
