Ticket sales, invoicing and an event app for a professional conference
The client was organizing a professional conference and needed a comprehensive solution covering the entire event lifecycle – from ticket sales all the way to communicating with attendees after the conference ended.

🛠️ Our solution
1️⃣ Ticket sales and registration
In the Inviton system we set up a sales event for the client with three ticket types and a separate option to purchase meals. Each ticket type had:

its own price,
-
a different VAT rate,
-
its own registration form with the specific details the organizer needed to collect from attendees.
2️⃣ Automated emails and invoicing
After a successful registration, every attendee received an automatic email in the client's branding, which included:

a ticket with a QR code,
-
an invoice issued on the client's behalf for the registration fee or ticket.
3️⃣ On-site accreditation and badge printing
At the conference entrance we checked attendees in by scanning the QR code on their ticket. When needed, an attendee could be looked up by name on a tablet running the Inviton Promoter app, and a badge with another unique QR code could be printed for them on the spot.
4️⃣ Meal checks using QR codes
We used the QR code on the badge when serving meals. The system automatically evaluated:

whether the attendee had purchased lunch,

whether they had already collected it that day.
This eliminated errors and ensured accurate records.
5️⃣ Event app for attendees
For the client we built a mobile app for iOS and Android that attendees could download even before the conference. In the app they found:

the full conference programme,
-
speaker information,
-
practical information about transport, parking and the venue,
-
a module for asking speakers questions directly during the talks.
6️⃣ Satisfaction survey and push notifications
After the conference, the organizer sent all attendees a satisfaction survey directly through the app. Attendees were alerted to the survey with a push notification, which significantly increased the completion rate.
7️⃣ Certificates of attendance
After the conference, the system automatically sent every participant a personalized certificate of attendance, which included:

the attendee's name,

their workplace,
-
the number of credits earned.
